Judo therapy is Japan’s own traditional medicine, used to treat broken bones, bone dislocations, sprains, bruises, torn tendons, etc. It has long been called honetsugi or bone-setting, and has evolved as a “hands-on” medical discipline, which takes advantage of the curative power of nature latent in every human being.
Judo therapy is covered by insurance and, therefore, there are many fields where Judo therapists can be of value, such as a therapist operating an orthopedic clinic to serve local residents, an orthopedic therapist who works in a hospital, a therapist who works as a sports trainer, etc.
Lecturers for each specialized class are front-line people with a lot of experience in their field.
Because our school has an attached orthopedic clinic, where actual treatments are conducted on the spot, students can learn not only basic knowledge and theory, but also directly observe high-level clinical treatments in action. Also, we provide special seminars aimed at passing the “national examination” and full support of students who will take the “national examination for Judo therapist” is available.
